accoudoir

"Accoudoir" is the studio created by Clément Pelisson for his creative activities as a set designer. Based in Paris and Marseille, Clément has always harbored an obsession for spaces and staging.

He grew up in the suburbs of Paris in a residence designed by the communist architects Renée Gailhoustet and Jean Renaudie. From a very young age, Clément thought that triangular floor plans and the absence of doors were the norm. This environment led him to pursue a career in interior architecture and scenography for brands such as Givenchy Parfums and Paco Rabanne, before launching his own studio. He naturally chose the name "Accoudoir" to emphasize the curiosity he carefully injects into his work for major brands like Hermès, Pangaia, and Jean Paul Gaultier, as well as publications such as Vogue Portugal, L'Officiel Italia, The Greatest, and Madame Figaro.

Why "Accoudoir"? Because it is both a meeting place and a place of discord.
